Suporting Victims of Sexual Violence on Campus
These articles provide information related to the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (SaVE). The first is purely informative in terms of helping students understand the rights and expectations of institutions in terms of the Act. The second is a commentary and brings to light some issues suggested by opponents of the Act questioning how the Act fits with women’s due process and equal protection rights. The topics of these articles are presented here to encourage discussion related to how college campuses in general, and our university in particular, can provide support for all victims of sexual violence on campus including members of the LGBTQ populations.
